Assessment from self, manager, peers and a cross-section of reporting staff, as well as from customers (where appropriate), provides valuable information about people’s strengths and development areas and can have a profound impact. This then provides the foundation for targeted training and development.
This tool is often used to improve functioning of senior management team members and boards may recommend it for their CEO. However, a motivated employee may choose to be proactive and seek 360 degree review feedback in order to identify their strengths and development needs.
